Our Pastor

Pr. Babu George was born and raised in an Orthodox family in Adoor, Kerala, India. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baselius College, Kottayam, and later earned a Bachelor of Theology from Duolus Theological College, Aluva. In March 2000, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Following this, he received water baptism and was baptized in the Holy Spirit in the same year. During the early years of his spiritual journey, he was actively involved with the Inter Collegiate Prayer Fellowship (ICPF). Subsequently, Pastor George served as an elder and associate pastor at Vineyard Pentecostal Church in Sharjah, UAE. Later, after moving to Canada in 2010, he joined Mount Carmel Pentecostal Church (MCPC) in 2014. Currently, he is an ordained minister and a member of the Canadian Christian Ministers Federation (CCMF). Together with his wife Binu and their son Joel, he faithfully ministers at MCPC. Moreover, he serves as the Chief Editor of Northern Light, a publication under the Pentecostal Fellowship of Indo-Canadians (PFIC).
